Gratitude amidst the Pandemic and Protests against Police Brutality (6 months update)

In honor of June being National Post Traumatic Stress Disorder month, let us work on a gratitude list.

It will be easy for me to write a list of 100 things I am not happy with during this current climate. However,  I am challenging myself to do the opposite. To write a gratitude list of 10 things I am grateful for.

Today, as we come into the half way point of 2020, I am grateful for

1. Prayer and other faith based life groups Zoom calls

2. Friends who consistently check in.

3. All my Essential Needs are met

4. Good health.

5. Support from my job

6. Being able to take evening walks

7. Being Financially okay

8. The opportunity to catch up on reading books I love.

9. Falling back in love with cooking

10. Using this time to learn new hobbies/skills that may serve me post pandemic.

What are you grateful for? I know it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but I promise you, this too shall pass. Hang in there. We are in this together.
