Now Testing:- Young Living Essential Oils

I got bite with the diffuser/humidifier/vaporizer craze.
This seems to be the newest wellness fad in the market.
Essential oils and the use of humidifiers/vaporizers/diffusers.

These devices have been around for many years as a medical tool assistance for those suffering from different ailments, especially related to breathing but now it's been commercialized as an every day product/routine to improve the quality of air at home.

What is the difference between the three?

Diffuser                          Humidifier
 Vaporizer
Introduces mist in
the air in a
breathable form.

Used to dilute oils
and introduce them in the air to improve
the scent of the
environment.

For therapeutic reasons
or just to have a nice smelling room.

Types
-Electric
-Humidifying
-Evapourative
-Nebulizer

 Improve the
 humidity
of a room .
Helps to relief

- dry skin,
- nose bleeds
- cracked lips
- scratchy throats.

Cool versus Warm Moisture

Be careful not to
 OVER HUMIDIFY
your home because it might

cause breathing issues
in an Asthmatic

and also make it a breeding place

for mold.

Types- Steam
- Evapourator
- Ultrasonic
- Whole house
- Impeller
Vaporizers heat
water to create
steam.

So whether it's
an essential oil
or a product like
Vick's Vaporizer,
they help with
congestion
and breathing issues.

Essential oils are also experiencing a comeback

They have always been a staple in the kit of any wellness conscious person but now they are making a comeback with some companies totting many healing claims that have not gone through a scientific research process.

In the past I've used essential oils while getting a massage and as part of my skin care (face) regiment.

Now that I have this Young Living Essential oils collection, I plan to expand my use of them, especially the edible ones.

Do you use essential oils?
