Child Trafficking: The case of Vanessa Tchatchou

Vanessa_Campaign030212500
Child and human trafficking in Africa has taking a turn for the worst as some people are willing to do anything to leave the continent. I remember watching the news in 2010 about a New Jersey man from Togo who enslaved 25 girls to work 24/7 in his beauty salons as braiders. These girls had been entrusted to him by their parents and relatives with promises of a better life in America.
Today not only are the desperate preyed upon but the new trend is the theft of babies from hospitals!
Vanessa Tchatchou is a 17yrs old girl who gave birth to a baby in a public Hospital97bf744d(Ngousso) in Yaounde’, Cameroon. The date of birth was August 11th 2011. However, Vanessa has yet to lay eyes on her baby. According to news report, she has been camped out in her hospital room, waiting for the hospital staff to bring her baby! The Cameroon police and government has not been helpful in launching an investigation in regards to her allegations. Apparently this is not the first time a newborn child birthed by a homeless mother has gone missing in Cameroon's hospitals!. The conspiracy theory circulating around is that these hospitals have become the new breeding ground for child/baby trafficking.
Who will listen and sympathize with a homeless woman over the words of respectable hospital staffs?
Its been more than 6 months and Now the Cameroon government has announced that the baby in question is dead?!!Read more about it HERE in french…
As far as my research has been able to find out..dead or alive, no “body” has been reproduce as being Vanessa's baby.
